Direct composite restorations continue to increase in use versus other dental options. This is due primarily to great improvements with nano-technology composite systems and introductions of new 7th generation dental adhesive. This course will highlight use of such systems in various treatment applications.
Learning Objectives: • To understand the benefits of nano-composites and self-etch adhesives • To implement the use of sectional matrix system in Class II restorations • To understand the advantages of matrices and diode lasers for Class V restorations • To review preparation concerns and finishing procedures for various anterior/posterior restorations
